Jerusalem House


Jerusalem House is a non-denominational Christian ministry reaching the poorest of the poor in Allentown with the good news of God’s love in Jesus through word and works.  Located at the corner of 9th and Turner Streets, JH provides food, clothing, furniture, counseling, Bible studies, weekly worship, and a drop-in center for all neighbors in need.  Pastor Dan Adams and his wife, Sister Peaches, bear Christ in all they do in committing their lives to serving the Lord at Jerusalem House.

CROP Walk » Thank you for joining The CROP Hunger Walk   We will meet at the front of St.Timothy’s Church at Ott Walnut St. Allentown on Sunday, October 12, 2014   Sign in starts at 12:45 pm, the walk starts promptly at 1:30.   On the Day of the Walk – Find your recruiter and turn in your completed and signed donation envelope.  Be sure all monies are inside the envelope and do not seal. All checks are made payable to CWS/CROP with New Life Church in the memo line. If you have food donations, you can take it to the Food Bank truck, located in front of church, Be sure to sign into the walk, then we will meet up again and if you’ve earned a T-shirt. You will get a coupon for you to pick out a size you like at T-shirt table under the pavilion. By 1:20 there will be warm ups and short send off prayer by 1:30 when the walk begins. *Please remember to sign back out when you return from walking and you will also be given a token thank you from CWS.   Envelope Tips: Please fill in all the blanks at the top of your CROP WALKER sponsor envelope, and print clearly. Try to set a goal $150. (Receive a CROP WALK tee shirt free with $125 in sponsor money) Start to sign up sponsors right away starting with yourself, family, friends and neighbors. Take your sponsor sheet everywhere you go (leave money in a safe place till the day of the walk) WALK on The Web for extra donations. Ask your sponsors to give their full donation when they make their commitment so you don’t have to turn donations in after the walk. Print their full names and addresses in the spaces provided.
